The updated app is awful. I want the old one back. I dont need an entire screen of radar map. I want to see the forecast info as it was.

The new app is awful layout. Go back to the former view. This is just awful.

Not easy to follow. Change back to previous app.
Preferred solution: The old layout. This new one is terrible.
The new weather channel app is, in my opinion, sucks! The radar screen takes up 2/3 of the screen while the other useful info for your daily planning is difficult to quickly find.
Also, I use my iPad in portrait position for most part and having this open in landscape only is aggravating. Please go back to previous version.

Horrible update, WORST ever. Blocks the whole screen
This recent update as a day ago is one of the worst The Weather Channel has ever come up with. The whole screen is completey BLOCKED.
WTH are you THINKING?? You just did an update a few months ago which was actually slightly better than the one before but now you've ruined it with the most recent update.
Absolutely horrible and will no longer use this app ever again. WAKE UP Weather Channel, you're losing people right and left.

THIS NEW UPDATE IS HORRENDOUS
The new update was forced upon me and I am SO UPSET. its awful.
The icons are hard to read, the layout is horrible, it LAGS so bad and I pay for the premium version where I should have zero issues.
This update is awful and Id literally pay to have the old version back. Whoever designed this needs to fix it!!

Their new app update sucks.
Your daily forecast is too small to see. I do not like this new update at all, and apparently others do not like it as well.
The new WC app, which is absolutely horrible, is the result of a corporate marketing strategy that maximizes profit instead of being viewer centric first. Thats why you see State Farm, one of the largest by far, spending advertising dollars with the WC.
I thinks it’s disgusting to see a notification of a tornado doing damage to homes and people, but before you view the video you have to sit through Arnold running out of a house on fire on a fake movie set. You do realize that is as space and it’s a pay for space deal with SF, shame of the WC and SF, just play the video, that’s what we want to see.

New App Stinks
The Weather Channel used to be my #1 Go-To for all things weather. Not anymore!
Im angry and honestly dislike this stupid app. It only works in Landscape on an iPad, I cant find what I want, it freezes and find it difficult to navigate.
Please bring back the old app. This one sucks!

New app stinks
Is there nowhere to get national maps? Any look at the tropics without a looming storm?
Much of the print and icons to small and hard to read. Plus TWC is all about manmade climate change.

Its constantly going down. Its not dependable.
Im going to uninstall it, and just use AccuWeather. Its ridiculous you have to deal with these issues all the time.

Resolved: I used to use the app-now with the update it’s TERRIBLE
I cant login and there are too many pages when all I want is the weather, not all the crap about exercise and sunshine. I requested a link for password reset and the link doesnt work at all . Then it said I tried too many times and locked me out

The new app sucks
July 17, 2024 update is terrible. The functionality I have relied on is gone. Cant get rid of the radar screen which takes up half of the page.
I agree this new app is horrible. I’m so Disappointed I think that’s an understatement. I am about to delete this app that I have relied on for years.

The new app is terrible. Why did they feel the need to “fix” something that was not broken??? PLEASE bring back the old format.
They have completely changed the presentation of the open screen and there is no option to customize the format.

Why did The Weather Channel App change for the worse?
Radar now takes up one-half of the display page. I really hate using the new design on my IPad as I have to switch the pad from a vertical to horizontal orientation.
I also am asked to sign in or set my preferences every single time! Honestly, please go back to the format I was used to and loved!

Cancel service
Tried to reach a live representative regarding cancelling my service to no avail. Was given the internet run around never putting a live representative to speak to. Do not order the weather channel.

The new App Update is horrible. Hard to read. Impossible to navigate. Cannot load cities. Says they are stored but then no cities listed. Go back to old App or we will all move on.
Fire your NEW Design Team and go back to what was not broken. This used to be an easy app to plan trips, see forecasts and watch news from
around the world.

I agree this was NOT an improvement. It is no intuitive nor useful.
After several years of using this app I just deleted it. The “update” is not user friendly, it’s actually a very unattractive mess.
Why change what was working well? Glad to have found another app that’s much easier to read.

Two-thirds of the screen is radar. why?
The daily/hourly is visually awkward. Ugh.
It’s as if they tried to find a way to make it as useless & hard to use as possible. They succeeded.
Wind stream is very glitchy and hardly ever can get it to work when I need it to, I’ve been a premium user for years but this year it’s the worst, I’ve sent many e-mails asking for help and no responses, I won’t be using them again next year if they don’t fix soon, old version was much better
Reduce the size of the radar map! Show more current data on the screen instead (humidity, %rain, wind)
